BREW DETROIT TUITION SCHOLARSHIP - Danielle Fracassa

This scholarship, sponsored by Brew Detroit provided Danielle $1,500.00 towards tuition in a Michigan College or University-based Brewing Program for the academic years 2022/2023 (Fall 2022, Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall 2023)

From Dani: "Winning this scholarship is a huge and wonderful help toward paying for schooling, which is so important to me. Schoolcraft College's program is respected and innovative, and I am so proud to be a student there. Because of this scholarship, I am even closer to completing my certification and gaining all the skills I need to make a place for myself in the beer industry. I am so grateful to Fermenta and Brew Detroit, and I will absolutely use my future beer powers for good!"

Danielle has been the head of the Detroit chapter of Girls Pint Out since 2019, and currently serves on the national advisory board. She also contributes to a Michigan beer focused podcast and blog called Better On Draft, is a Certified Beer Server, and is working toward her Cicerone level 2 certification. She's enrolled in the Schoolcraft College Brewing and Distillation Technology certificate program, and hopes one day to be a skilled cellar person as well as possibly a tap list consultant. She loves New England IPAs, cheeseburgers, cats and travel, and loves to try new breweries wherever she is.
